President and Chief Executive Officer
As President and Chief Executive Officer of Sierra Pacific Mortgage, Jim Coffrini oversees all company operations with his clear vision and well defined strategies. Jim's entrepreneurial approach and his 30+ years of experience in the Mortgage Banking industry has helped him to implement his vision to be a leading national mortgage banking company, delivering quality products and superior service to its customers.
Jim started the company in 1986 and since inception he has focused on three core values; operational excellence, technology, and innovative products. By adhering to these tenets, Sierra Pacific Mortgage Continues to grow and is recognized as a responsible lender committed to meeting the expectations of clients and customers alike.
Chief Operating Officer
As the Chief Operating Officer, Gary oversees Risk, Operations and Information Technology. Gary brings to this role over 30 years of mortgage industry knowledge. Beginning his career as a loan originator and then expanding into construction lending, secondary marketing, compliance and then bringing it all together with banking operations expertise, gives Gary the well rounded lending experience needed to help drive our corporate goals.
Gary was awarded the designation of Certified Mortgage Banker by the Mortgage Bankers Association in 2006 and is one of only 1,500 employed in the industry to hold this prestigious designation. Gary and his team at Sierra Pacific Mortgage continue to successfully grow our national lending framework.
Chief Information Officer
As Chief Information Officer, Jim oversees all aspects of information technology systems supporting Sierra Pacific business channels, in addition to enterprise applications and systems for all corporate processes.
Jim has over 25 years of experience in business management, with 15 years of experience managing complex projects. Certified by PMI as a Project Management Professional since 2001, Jim is particularly strong in managing information technology projects with a unique ability to apply business savvy to technical projects in order to formulate strategic solutions.
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Paul oversees the financial and investor reporting, budgeting, cash management, warehouse lending, and human resource and loan servicing functions. Paul continues to play a fundamental role in developing the Company business strategy.
Paul has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting, with over 8 years in the Mortgage Banking industry. He is a CPA and specializes in financial reporting, acquisition integration, financial analysis and product pricing.
Chief Production Officer
As Sierra Pacific’s Chief Production Officer, Jay is responsible for increasing the company’s national presence in all Production channels. A career mortgage banker, his background includes key executive leadership roles combined with an impressive list of accomplishments.
Currently, he is creating and implementing strategies for growing Sierra Pacific’s market share for the Retail, Wholesale, Consumer Direct and Correspondent divisions. Previously, Jay has spent over 20 years in the financial industry, Most recently as Senior Vice President of Retail Lending with Sierra Pacific, managing the Retail, Consumer Direct and Builder Divisions. He also served as Executive Vice President Joint Ventures at Stearns Lending, Senior Vice President Sales Development Stearns Lending, and has worked in several different roles at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Greenpoint Financial, Barclays Global Investors, and E-Trade Financial.
As a former top originator, branch manager, and account executive, Jay’s passion for creating a collaborative internal culture empowers him to provide innovative marketing, technology and sales tools to hundreds of Sierra Pacific originators across the nation.
Senior Vice President of National Operations
Rick is responsible for the strategic direction and management of Sierra Pacific's Retail, Wholesale, Correspondent and Consumer Direct operational, credit risk and mortgage underwriting practices. Rick joined Sierra Pacific Mortgage in 2017, bringing over 30 years of industry experience to share. During his career, Rick has held various senior management roles for many of the nation’s leading financial institutions.
Rick’s direction for Sierra Pacific's Operations teams is to continuously promote an environment of open communication and mutual support in each Regional Operations Center. This includes strategies to improve borrowers' experiences - from first-time buyers to owners of luxury homes and investment properties. He is equally dedicated to supporting other parties associated with each lending transaction, including insurance providers, title agents and shipping associates.
Executive Vice President – Third Party Origination
As the Executive Vice President of TPO, Amy leads all facets of our Third Party Originations channel. Amy joined Sierra Pacific Mortgage in 2019 with an impressive track record of success in implementing origination platforms, building successful brands and exponentially growing market share for national firms in Third Party Origination.
Amy received the “2018 Women of Influence” award from HousingWire. She is a skilled strategist and is widely known throughout the industry as a visionary leader and a problem solver with an acute attention to the details. She is an innovator with a questioning mindset of “why not” and is passionate about transforming the experience for all within the mortgage ecosystem.

Vice President – Capital Markets
As Vice President of Capital Markets, Lonnie oversees pricing, hedging, servicing retention, investor relations, product development and post-closing. Lonnie is a veteran in the Mortgage Banking industry with more than 30 years of experience.
Prior to joining Sierra Pacific, Lonnie spent nearly 25 years in Capital Markets managing portfolio lending, private securitizations and independent mortgage bankers. His additional included a number of years focused in retail lending for residential and small commercial.
